iv been busy making various gifts for Christmas and here are a few pictures of a baroque 2011 calender i put together using the G45 Steampunk range.......
Altered this memo box i got for $2 using G45 papers and a dress form covered in a vintage paper bag and dressed up with black lace and Prima bling and rosettes, background in vintage paper bag also with some Prima roses and bling, needles to say it no longer looks like i got it for $2
this morning as i listen to the radio im saddened as 27 men are trapped in the Pike River Mine, i hope they all get rescued as soon as possible and this has a happy ending, at this stage there has been no word from any of the trapped men, please God help these men and there Families and be with them during this time.....God be with you all
These are my halloween flowers for a swap im doing at the moment, the fabric is like a taffata shot with gold awesome to work with as singes really well and puts a nice black edge on the outside
This one is made from wedding satin i found in an opp shop and cut up, cut 3 of each sized flower from Sir tims die layered them starting with the smallest first pushing it into a mousepad i got that cupped look arounf the pearl then stacked them, added some tulle, string of pearls and a white fluffy feather and a slight spray of pearl glimmermist, i dried it off using the heat gun which slightly singes the satin and curls it up........
my two stick pins for our swap on the new Oz Nz site folder made from spellbinders die frame and inked with gold brilliance embossed with Sir Tims Regal flourish folders
Using the Tattered flower die from Sir Tim Holtz, scrunched with water and distress with ink and a dash of mica flakes, love the delicate look of it and these are so addictive to make.
A close up of the flowers, the top little Green flower was from a paper swap from Alyson in the UK so thought this would go well with the theme, my Sister definately is a Gardening Goddess talk about "Miss Green Fingers"
and i did this one for my Sister as she is more a gardner than a Domestic Goddess so this was her down to the details, i made the flowers from my retro punch and used the wet scrunch technique and a load of glimmer mist.
This is the first time iv used Graphic 45 papers and I LOVE THEM sooooooo much, they are lovely to work with, i decided it was high time a decorated my boring kitchen so this is my retro canvas using the Domestic Goddess Range.
