Well its about time i returned

Hi everyone :)

Happy 2012 and lets hope its a great one.

What a year 2011 was, since my last posting in March 2011 alot has happened in my corner of the world.
We had many special days, my boys got 1 year older and so did i for that matter, had alot of laughs, moved to a bigger house in a nicer area, made many crafty bits and pieces, and made lots of new and interesting friends from all over the globe, but one moment of 2011 i wont forget in a hurry is the loss of a family member John, he was only 63 and unfortunately died in November due to Liver Cancer and was diagnosed only 3 weeks prior to that, May he RIP and may we his family always keep him close in our hearts till we meet again.
If  the passing of John taught me anything in that month, i learnt we are here for a short time only and we really need to value that fact everyday and make sure we do everything we can to have the best day and make it as if it was our last day.

I Been a Busy Bee

iv been busy making various gifts for Christmas and here are a few pictures of a baroque 2011 calender i put together using the G45 Steampunk range.......

Memo Box

Altered this memo box i got for $2 using G45 papers and a dress form covered in a vintage paper bag and dressed up with black lace and Prima bling and rosettes, background in vintage paper bag also with some Prima roses and bling, needles to say it no longer looks like i got it for $2

My thoughts go out to the men and their families

this morning as i listen to the radio im saddened as 27 men are trapped in the Pike River Mine, i hope they all get rescued as soon as possible and this has a happy ending, at this stage there has been no word from any of the trapped men, please God help these men and there Families and be with them during this time.....God be with you all
